RE: [APML] Nikon Drum Scanner
Jim:
I've used a Nikon 8000 ED for several months with good results. I've read
many folks don't care for the Nikon scanners for various reasons but I like
mine. That price is reasonable; they sell new for $3k and when I bought it
had to wait for Nikon to produce some (3 to 6 months initially, but it
wasn't that long in fact). Feel free to contact me off line if you require
more information or wish to see some sample scans or whatever.

Subject: [APML] Nikon Drum Scanner
Hi All,
I've been pricing scanners and came across a Nikon Super Coolscan 8000 ED
Multi-Format drum scanner for $2319. Is this a practical AP (or otherwise)
scanner and does the price seem reasonable. Thanx all for any advice.
