Thanks to all who had tips for my question about the 165mm f/2.8 Pentax wide
open.

Jeff, there's no obvious abborations at least at web resolution in this
photo. I might just ask Mr Tucker what his thoughts are as you suggest.

Kent, I've used this lens several times and have been very impressed with
it. There's three images on my site with it. But I've never used it wide
open. Only at f/4 and f/5.6. My lens happens to have best focus at the
infinity mark so I'm already got that bug worked out.
