In some ways, yes... I did notice a
slight degredation in this second series of images as the moon got closer to
M-51... but from the viewpoint of film... think of this... you are asking me if
a CCD image that I took near the full moon has more data than a film image taken
under a dark sky!
For those of
us who have worked with film... there is no film, no scanning... just 16 bit
data being sucked directly out of the sky...
