Actually I have a very similar question:
Within my limited budget of 1500EUR i am considering:
Borg 4" f/6,4
Vixen 4" ED f/6,5
Takahashi FS76

For a start I am not considering medium format, but it would of course be nice if it were capable for later on (The Borg)
In the S&T test the Vixen are being compared in quality to the "...early nineties AP's"
I have my doubts about the FS76: Does an expected higher contrast in a real Apo compared tyo an ED make up for the smaller aperature..?
