I heard Williams optics surpass Borg optics. But I also heard Chevys surpass Fords, which is not evidently true.
 
The guy who made that comment, however, had owned both and was a good optician.
 
I also heard that the older Russian made ones were supposed to be better.
 
They are supposed to be apochromatic. Check it out.

  Appreciate the heads-up.  Anacortes lists a William Optics Fluoro-Star FLT 110mm f/6.5 Triplet SD oil-spaced objective telescope with a 4-inch focuser.  Other than that, I know nothing (read with Sgt. Schulz accent).

I hear Williams Optics makes a suberb refractor of short focal length and it is sold, I think, by Anacortes.
