Very good article Matt.. there is another way, just use the original slides,
after archival scanning of course. Its surprising how good your slides look
using your method.
I often take an extra shot of an object to use for presentations, this is easy
with my fast setup and autoguider.. a deep exposure with the tokay filter will
result in a dense beautiful slide, very suitable for projection.
If you have access to a computer projector (my club owns one) then I prefer to
use a small program to display images called Irfanview... better IMO than
Powerpoint in terms of noise, color fidelity and speed. Irfanview can be
