Hello Blair,
My presentation is a self running slide show with narration and music.
I use Powerpoint.  I am recording my presentation to VHS tape.  Not the
best medium, but I have found that digital projectors vary so much in
quality and color reproduction, that the VHS tape will give me more
consistent presentation quality.  I just started doing this since I have
an S-video out on my DVD video card.  It is very easy to find a TV/VCR
to play it on.  This format would be more difficult for a live lecture
type presentation, but with practice, it could be done.
