Re: [APML] First TP processing attempt: plop! (was: Storage and Transport of hypered film)
Hi Roland,
Jim is right.....very zen<g>
My first attempt was much like yours.
I used the bag the first time and have never went back to it after that
roll...I know the frustration.
I can remember sweating in the bag and asking myself what kind of gimic
cruel joke is this?
Some initiation test?!? BAH I said to the bag!
The only thing I use it for now is cutting film to put on blank rolls.
Another good way to practice is buy some cheap out of date film somewhere
and practice loading it in the dark.
You dont have to use anything less then a 12 exposure roll for this since
you probably wont be shooting that many exposures in a night anyway.
Its still difficult when not using hypered to get all of it on the reel,
thats half the reason I cut the film
I use the bathroom now and have a place for everything....much more room to
move around in....just make sure to cover the crack in the door.
Youll get the hang of it....probably the second time around.
Have at it,
Brian
