         The rumours surrounding Vixen & Orion are pretty hefty right now, 
all I can figure on is ther eis some kind of split right now.

         If the split stays, and they do part ways permenantly, I know of 
at least a half dozen dealers in the USA chomping at the bi to pick up A 
Vixen distributorship, so it might be wise to wait and see.  Come 
summertime I guesstimate there might be some news on the horizon.

         As for current stock, The House of Astronomy in Montreal, Quebec 
does seem to stock some Vixen equipment.  Not sure how they get it when 
Vixen has told me direclty Orion was thier only distributor int he past, 
but I hae seen brand new Vixen binocualrs come out of that place, not 
clones or copies, but the real thing.  Seen a couple Vixen scopes 
advertised on their web site too, but interstingly, only on thier Frech web 
page, not the English web page, unless I missed it.
