Hi Jim;
         The other hand agitation technique is to shake the tank like you 
are making a Martini, (you know, 007 style, shaken, not stirred :).  This 
still means no inversion, but striaght up and down.
         However, having tried that, and tried Chuck's way, I perfer 
Chuck's way.

         Rotary is a good way to, because of the consistancy, but onc you 
go rotary, you have to cutbacka nd adust your processing times, as the 
constant motion really increases your contrast.  So you are teaching 
yourself all over again.  however, the consistancy with rotary processing 
is very nice.
