I think they are designed for guidescopes.. my R200SS is very stout, absolutely
no problems using a quide scope.

I once modified mine by adding a 2" spacer to the mirror cell, this allowed the
use of a Lumicon newt easy guider and its coma corrector.. worked well but when
I changed my guidescope then I stopped using the off-axis guider and went back
to the guidescope..

Luckily I can screw a 48mm filter into the end of the coma corrector.. but that
may be possible just with my coma corrector.. you can always glue in a step-down
ring somewhere in the light path.

I just got a Vixen catalog, there is lots of stuff that Orion never showed in
their catalog. They even have a flat field 4" apo that will take medium format,
20um stars over a 90mm circle.
