The trade-off will be visually. 8" is a good light bucket under dark skies.
The 4.7" will give a bit wider view though, which is what I would look for
for AP. In fact after having a closer look. I would go with the short tube
version of the AstroView 120mm for it's wider field of view. The wider the
better in my experience.

Most deep sky objects are much larger photographically than they are
visually I believe. And some stuff, I've found, are even too big visually
for my FL=1250 @ F10 scope with a 26mm ep.
