RE: [APML] M101 Image



Grant, nice image, the colors look fine.  I like the grey background you use
for your pages, and would suggest that for the close up full size image, if
you could keep that rather than the pure white I get by giving the close up
it own page, that would make the dim details much easier to see.  Your stars
are sharp and round, and you did a fine processing job!

I just posted my newest galaxy shot.
One of the images was considerably grainy (for e200 anyways).
And the other image was somewhat soft.  So I chose to take the happy
medium and stack'em.  Also, the close-up image is 100% of the original
2700dpi scan.
Cropped a bunch of course.

I really had to crank up the curves to get the galaxy
to jump out.  Which in turn made the background somewhat noisy.
Comments, suggestions welcome.
