    I think I will wait on the Ha filter for now though. Just adds another complication into the mix when I haven't discovered the first set of complications yet!

It will reduce star sizes caused by the chromatic aberration inherent in most lenses.
 
This or a 29, 92 or H-alpha filter are required tools for TP.
