Wonderful images!
I am using the Minolta as well. It is very good for scanning slides. I 
could not notice any problems with scanning dark slides that are reported 
sometimes from users of other scanners.
All the slides on my homepage were scanned with the Minolta. I think it is 
a good value for the price.
