[APML] Sh2-240 and a Provia 100F Film Test

This one won't win any prizes, but it's the best I've ever been able to
get of this faint target. The big halo showed up on the second image of
this E200 stack, taken on a different night with some high haze - wish
I'd have shot both frames the first night, and I see that I didn't give
both dates on the page (10 and 13 Feb). The small, tight knot of
nebulosity on the left side of the image is not in SkyAtlas 2000. This
is one of the hardest images to process that I've ever posted.

And here's the Provia 100F deep-sky film test I promised awhile back,
shot on the same hazy night as the second image in the stack above.
It's only 50 minutes at f/4, but there's a lot of good stuff recorded -
especially blue. Notice IC423 and IC426 show up, along with that faint
nebula Tony showed us last week (forgot what it's called - it's not on
my chart). Still, this film may not be much use to folks with slower
systems unless it can be pushed. This page is unlinked and will not be
up after a couple of weeks. I only spent about 10 minutes processing
this one, so save your critiques for now, please. I did slide the
nebula color a tad from orangish to more pink, but this film is far less
orange than E200. Because of the good blue response, better than 400F I
think, I'm going to try it on that nasty, evil witch if I can still get
her this year.
