[APML] Reflector and AP

 Hello all, I am Very new to this (did not even do any AP yet).  I own a
Celestron 6" Star Hopper and I was wondering can this scope ever be used for
AP. Can I modify it one way or the other or is this just an impossible task?
I already do not like the "mount" or stand of this telescope and would like
to change it to something smoother, perhaps even an Equatorial  mount if
this scope can be modified to use for AP. I would appreciate any feedback,
and if there is any recommendations for Beginning with AP I would appreciate
your guidance.
