Matt asked you a number of questions that will help narrow the problem,
but I would look first at those Losmandy Rings.  I have personally had
problems with heavier 'scopes moving in them over time.  I suspect that
it is the material they use on the tips as the rings seem rigid enough.

My choice with such a relatively heavy guidescope is to either:

	1) Just bolt it in place with the tube holders.  The 'scope
		is big enough that a suitable guidestar should be
		in the field with minimal offset.

	2) Put a metal ring around the Traveler to protect its finish
		and remove the tips off of the DR125 set screws.

	3) Fabricate your own alt-az adjustable mounting.  There was
		a posting several months ago about a very good and 
		relatively simple design.  Perhaps someone else kept
		a link to that page.
