Re: [APML] Agfacolor Optima II 400

Hi Don:
I've tried it with reasonable results (http://www.astronomy-images.com/Tests/Sample%20of%204%20scans.htm, or just go to my home page and click on "Tests"). I found it difficult to find the right scanner settings but that was probably my lack of familiarity with the scanner (I had just gotten it).

Subject: [APML] Agfacolor Optima II 400

Has anyone tried Agfacolor Optima II 400 film?  The data sheet shows a spectral response very similar to PPF 400, except the log sensitivity is lower across the band.  The neat thing is that the peak red response is above 650 nm, right at the H alpha wavelength.

If you have experience and it looks good, what recipe works to hyper it?

I haven't found any place in San Diego that carries this film, so I may have to order it from B&H in New York.
