[APML] D76 vs D19 development for hypered Tech Pan?
Hi,
I'm a newbie as this having taken my first pictures not quite a year
ago (see, for example, http://www.astrofoto.org/constellations/).
I've ordered some hypered Tech Pan from Lumicon that I intend to use
in about two weeks and have a question about developing.
A nearby lab, recommended by a friend who is a professional
photographer and who does a fair amount of B&W, uses D76 for their B&W
development rather than D19 which is what seems to be most recommended
for Tech Pan. What are the drawbacks to using D76 rather than D19?
Kodak's web site says
Micro-fine or extremely fine grain (depending on developer),
extremely high resolving power
It's the "depending on developer" that has me wondering.
