RE: [APML] IC 2948 image
Axel,
Ive viewed that one visually, and it sure is faint. Youve struck an
excellent balance between neblosity and sky darkness.

Subject: [APML] IC 2948 image
Hi all,
here is another 3-image stack from my recent South Africa/Namibia trip:
http://canopus.physik.uni-potsdam.de/~axm/photo.cgi?Image=images/ic2948
This nebula is located 7° SE of the famous Eta Carinae nebula. Guiding was
done with my Super Polaris DX mount and an ST-4 autoguider. Making them
work together took a lot of practice due to the large Dec backlash, but
towards the end of my trip I had gradually learned to tame them!
Clear skies,
Axel
