I appreciate your insights. My mount is a 600E Quartz Drive. The QMD
controller is the prospective upgrade. DEC corrections with the ST-4 are
infrequent as I am rather anal about polar alignment. The mount probably
hasn't been serviced since '94 when it was made. Just window shopping for
now. It's cheaper that way :)
