Ouch! I accepted it at face value that he'd uploaded his shot to their site but assumed he was not an employee. Same as what SBIG supports. Doesn't guarantee a perfect shot.
 
I think you misunderstood Massimo's announcement? It doesn't come across from Massimo's message that he had anything to do with taking and posting those shots. He was just letting us know that he had come across the images on the Canon page, and he'd like to try his hand at processing them. If  he'd taken them himself, I wouldn't have been so harsh in my criticism! But he didn't - the photographer is uncredited but these seem to be presented as a selection of Canon's own best images. So I would have expected better.
