RE: [APML] Giant Pipe Nebula Montage

Rob, yes it is. Films are either "warm" or "cool" biased. Noth both.
Today, films are mostly of the "cool" variety. But 5 years ago, "warm" was
the rage. Thats when all the great red films came out. The result is that
like the E200, which is a very "warm" film, astrophotos have little if any
blues. I stand by my colors on this one. Every single shot Ive ever taken
of this part of the sky with film is very reddish yellow. Making it neutral
would be a chromatic mistake!

clear skies!

Chris,
Another rich starfield. One thing I notice is that all the schmidt shots
have a very
strong red bias. In fact very little blue tones seem to get picked up. Is
this
characteristic of the film being used?
