which deconv are you using these days, Rob. I seldom use it these days but
when I do, i've been pretty happy with the results i get with the one in
AIP4WIN (older edition, probably should upgrade...)
i use the richardson-lucy with triangular or gaussian selected for the PSF.
I tend to use only two or three cycles though. if I have "thin" data
sometimes I will run the noise filter before the deconv to avoid the "sand
grains" background noise problem. it has a nice noise filter
