I've been looking through the Losmandy site, and I guess I'm not
following it too well :-/ I was surprised when I found the GM8-DSP
(dual scope platform) dovetail bar does not fit in the stock GM8-SPD
(saddle-plate, D-size) that comes with the mount. The bar is for the
smaller GM8-SP. So, having my first assumption proved invalid has left
me unsure about the other stuff. If I can pry free the time, I may stop
by Adorama Camera; I've forgotten his name, but they hired a guy who
used to be with High Point Scientific. If he's around, I'll see if he
can help.

Hmmm, now that I reread your message, I see what you are saying. I
mostly do see which dovetail and saddle plate go together. What I'm
trying to figure out here is a little different. Let me try to
rephrase.

I have the 120ST on a GM8 UV and it fits into the GM8-SP. On top of the
scope rings are two flats for mounting, well, anything you want. But if
I want to put the Pentax 67 + 300 mm, I'm going to want something like
the Losmand DR108. But how do I attach that to the flats on top of the
rings? Does it have slotted holes to line up? Is there some other
piece I mount on the flats that the DR108 fits into?

I've asked on the Losmandy group a couple of other questions, but I'm
clearly not asking the right way since so far I've had a grand total of
zero responses to three questions over the past 1--2 weeks :-/

Thank's for the tip on the weight limits. I know I'm going to have to
take apart the RA head and tighten up the worm a bit; right now I've got
close to 1-degree(!) of slop. I've spent the last few semi-clear nights
practicing mount alignment and getting used to the Gemini.
