I know this is OT for this group, but I was a long
time film guy, too.
Anyway, I have uploaded a new slide show of a
few of my recent DSLR astronomical pictures with music to www.photodex.com. If you have a PC
(Mac's won't work) and a broadband connection and care to see it, click on
"Online Sharing" and then type in "HapGriffin" into the Browse Member Collection
section. There you will find a slide show entitled "Imaging
Infinity". Click on it to download it. Be patient while it
downloads, it is a large file. It installs a small viewer utility (don't
worry, it's safe). When the application starts, click on the main picture
window to start the show. You can right click within the running show to
blow it up full screen. Be sure to have your lights turned down and your
sound turned up. If your PC is reasonably fast, it should run smoothly
with no skips. If it is jumpy the first time through, it may work better
once it is all in memory at once so try it again.
Comments welcomed.
