Very interesting result Richard. The colors are a bit different than I'm
used to seeing for that region, but it is still a pleasing image. Do you still
plan on taking the R channel when time and weather permits?

attaching the lens to the combination of the filter wheel and focuser
(DF2).
I have a couple of alignment issues I want to check
out before next session but I am pretty happy with this initial
result.
I used 15 minute sub exposures for the Halpha ( 4
total) and 3 minute subs for Green (10 total) and 5 minute subs for Blue (6
total). Total time was 2 hours.
Originally I planned to take RGB plus Ha but I ran out of time before I
could get the Red data shot. So I just used Ha for the Red.
