Renzo - I think that is a great shot! Focus is bang on! I think you could
stretch it a lot more in Curves. I pinned down the upper part of the curve
to control the core and held the bottom of the curve the same way (to avoid
too much brightening of the background) and was able to bring out the outer
portions of the cluster easily. On your full resolution version this should
produce an even more pleasing result.
Also, when you brighten the background you see that the left edge is
particularly affected by the stacking, you might choose to crop it a bit.
I see you have changed scopes - are you happier with the F/5 10"? That is a
nice focal length for sure.
