Thank you,I have a cross of plastic sticks
aproximatly 5mm in diameter permanently mounted on the dew shield,
I used to take them off after focusing,but after a
while I realy started to like the look,and left them on the scope during
imaging.

Wolfgang, I would echo the praise you've received
already - a beautifully rendered image! How do you get such pronounced
diffraction spikes on an SCT? Are you adding string cross-hairs like Rob
Gendler has done on his refractor?

Here is a new image of the iris nebula from
last night,I took 60 min.luminance unbined,and 120 min with 2x2 bining for
the faint outer parts,RGB is 15 min.each with 2x2 bining.
