RE: [APML] Konica 400 - final film tests III



Jason, 

the grain structure of this film is pretty tame
compared to some of the higher contrast films of the
past like PPF, but Id still like to try stacking two
negatives in PS and get the finest details.  When
stacking negs, you can either blend them at 50% or
invert the scans to negative, and multiply them after
the alignment.  One thing this film really has going
for it is the blue-greens tend to be more balanced
with the reds yielding what I think is quite accurate
colors. 

Another point is that none of this was done with the
film hypered.  I would imagine that the reds might be
better recorded faster with hypering, my experience
dictates about 10 to 12 hours at 50C might do this fim
wonders.  Since I have a fridge full of this stuff,
that should be forthcomming!
