Hello,

I am really, really surprised that someone as well rounded as Chris
would make a comment like that ... no kidding ... this list went around and
around on this subject matter ... and my only comment now is how in the heck
are you ever going to become aware of what is possible with the new
technologies if you don't see samples of it, or dabble in it yourself? OK
... this list is film only ... I respect that ... I won't post any more CCD
images here ... in fact I won't post anything here anymore. By your own
actions, you have become defunct. Astrophotography is now a mixture of film
and CCD ...  I can't subscribe to a list that considers progress to be
something unacceptable ... I won't limit myself ... why should you? How sad
...

Oh God!!!!!
Here we go again.
Please cool your jets.

I'll not restate what has already been said but you are exactly correct.
I think the subscribers to this list really enjoy your images and how far you can 'push the envelope', be they film, CCD or tin type.  I look at this list for advice and guidance and can perhaps offer some when appropriate.
