Re: [APML] Fw: images

I agree Tony.

I think the "no CCD on the APML" discussions are total crap. It is fricking
old and it is wicked boring. I am one of the old film guys but ya know
what, I saw the light quite a while ago and it ain't gonna be on film much
longer.

I welcome CCD posts, DSLR posts, digicam posts, webcam posts etc........ on
the APML. I don't really care what type of "sensor" the image was captured
on. I wish people would get over this film only APML list BS. If you are
that emulsion pure, then you should not be using a computer, Photoshop,
MaxIm, Registar, PW, etc etc, etc.. and there is to be no scanning of your
film either since you are using a CCD to capture the image! Let's see, I
think that leaves about 1 or 2 people in the world who still use a chemical
darkroom for astrophotography, oh wait, if you put the image on a website,
it must have been scanned using that awful thing called a CCD.

Chris

Btw, I think Chris was just stating the known facts here on the APML. I
don't falut him for informing Gerald.
