[APML] Scorpius with Provia 400F



Rodney,

That's a very nice image.  It looks like some of the darker areas were cut off in processing.  You'd be better off using photoshop "curves" to adjust the image than either auto-levels or brightness/contrast.  There are a lot of good resources on this on the internet.  Jerry Lodriguss' site is a good place to start:

Please find below a link to a recent image of the Scorpius region taken with Fuji Provia 400F.

I would appreciate critical feedback on this image to assist with improving my skills.

Specifications are:
Camera = Canon F1; Lens = f2.8 20mm @ f4.0
Exposure = 20mins; Date = 22/5/04; Time=12:49a
Photoshop Auto Levels and Brightness/Contrast Adjustment

Image size is 292k which I hope is not too large.

I would very much appreciate comments and any suggestions as to additional processing tips that may be useful.
