Re: [APML] Provia 400F

Title: Re: [APML] Provia 400F
Don’t think it matters much. The US film is stored in and shipped in a controlled environment, where as the imported “grey” film is not, I’ve used both and have never seen any difference, though if your delivery area is in a hot zone, like the desert, you wouldn’t want your film to be left at you door in a package all day baking in the sun and heat.  Whenever I do shoots for clients (not astro) I always use US film as I can’t afford to find a color shift after the fact. The little extra is a small price to pay for guarantying an accurate color.

I’ve always had good luck and good shots with every roll of Provia 400F US or import for what it’s worth, great low grain high speed transparency film.

Hi all :)

I dont give-up on film ;) but maybe I'll give a try to Fuji Provia 400F for a while , this film is good for aurora and for astrophoto.

When I look to BH Photo , 2 choices are infront of me , the USA version and the IMPORTED version. I know they explain all the differences but I'm not sure to understand all the text , that's why I ask your help for astrophoto use.

If you are me ;) here in Canada , wich one you'd order ? The USA or the IMPORTED version ( cheaper )

here's the details ( the boxes are exactly the same )

USA ( $ 9.75 ) : http://tinylink.com/?v1TtvS4l4V

Imported ( $ 5.75 ) : http://tinylink.com/?3lxi3j5aOL

Thanks for your help !
