I appreciate both your comments.  Tony Hallas did most of the work.
He sure knows how to bring out all that "hidden" detail.

Stuart,

I did not attempt to lessen the light fall off.  As you found out, I
thought it would be difficult to do and also preserve the tail.  I
do really like the 300 mm EDIF.  It's a great lens, that could
benefit greatly stopped down to f/5.6.  This should alleviate most
of the light fall off.
