Re: [APML] NGC7000 with a false comet ! (and Konica 400)
Oops , I didn't read lower , your note is telling that's a mosaic , sory !
Me too I'm optimist :) Maybe the KC sold at BH is better than KCS , we'll see how it work , Chris Schur is testing the one sold at BH :)
Here we usualy have 60 to 80% of humidity , compared to your site , it's very humid ;) and last friday the temp was ~ 5°C but at noon it was ~20°C , we have a big diffference these times in temps at days and nights.
Now it's 3:43 am here ... time to go bed ;)
Thanks Wei-Hao !
Clear skies !
Dom :)

Hi Dom,
I'm still feeling optimistic about Centuria Super 400. We just need
more tests to make a firm conclusion about its performance. What's the
typical temperature and humidity of your site? Mine is like 5 to 10
degree C and 10% to 20% humidity.
The NGC7000 picture of mine is not a stacked image of four exposures.
It's a mosaic of 4 frames, each with exposure time 85 minutes. So
there is only one negative for most objects in the image, except for
the small overlap regions between frames.
It's always better to compare the original negatives. But even if
we twist the image in PhotoShop, we can still tell what's on the
negative from the S/N of the image.
Cheers,
Wei-Hao
