Re: [APML] NGC7000 with a false comet !

Hi all !

I know that my picture can't vie with Rob , Jason and Jeff's picture ;) but in my test of the film Konica Centuria 400 , I discovered a false comet just beside NGC 7000 ;) I posted this picture on my STD gallery because I find it original.

I saw on Robert Reeve"s website a picture of a star with internal reflection ... does this happen frequently these reflections ?

You can see this picture here

Thanks for looking !

Hi everyone,

I am still here on this list, though I don't post often.

The reflection off Deneb is caused by a bright star being too close
to the edge of the film holder.  The star's reflection bounces off the
edge of the film holder and shines across the film.  It has happened
to me before.  Its just one of those Schmidt camera anomalies you
get used to.  Put the bright star away from the edge and the reflection
will go away.
