Re: [APML] Venus, again ... from Montreal, again ...

Dominic,

Seems to be the brigtness of the sun at different times. I took the first one when I put the filter on because it was getting just a bit to brigth to shoot without filter. The two last pictures have been taken about 45 minutes later ... near 3rd contact when the sun was higher in the sky and much more brighter.

Clear skies,

Beautiful pics Phillipe !!!

Definitely , the transit with clouds give a beautiful perspective , IMO !

Just a quick question : Why the colors of your Badder filter are not the same on all pictures ?

Thanks in advance !

Dom :)

Hi all,

As Dominic said, now it's my turn! I took some pictures of the transit from the Mount Royal, a small mountain in the center of
Montreal city.

I used two Olympus OM-1, one with a 300mm lens and the other coupled with a small and cheap 60mm F7 refractor. You can see the
results at: http://www.astrophoto.ca/en/new.html

Clear skies,
