[APML] O.T. Cooling a Nikon D70

I know this is off topic, but this group is very knowledgeable, and I'm
looking for some feedback.  Normally I use a Nikon F3 when doing
astrophotography, but I just bought a Nikon D70 digital camera (for normal
day photography), and I want to try it for astrowork.

The noise level is fairly low with the D70, but I'm wondering if it would be
even better if cooled.  This may sound crazy, but I'm thinking of dry ice,
dryer hose, and a fan.
Any thoughts?
