Subject: Re: [APML] New Kodak Ultra Color Negative Film
I had a eye opening experience at Wally World last week. I always cruise by the film counter on my way to the digital cameras. To my astonishment the film counter usually has at least a dozen different films/speeds, singles packs, dual packs, quad packs etc, as well as the three major brands, Kodak,Fuji,Polaroid, had Fuji 400 singles ONLY............... According to the clerk they would not be restocking due to the interest in Digital Cameras. I can only find local film at the high end photo supplies for $12+ per 24 roll.
So I cruised into RiteAid, only to repeat the above story............
Any suggestions on film purchases??
Film may be closer to being gone than we have imagined........

Yes, and if major retailers quit selling film, how much longer before they quit processing it, too? Not very long, I'd wager.
