[APML] Venus transit time

A quick question for anyone located in the eastern standard time zone.
The NASA website shows the transit egress starting at 11:06UT for
Montreal which I believe equates to 5:06AM DST. The only problem is that
on the same line NASA shows the sunrise being at 9:06UT (3:06DST)
whereas the local paper shows it at 5:06DST.
Which is correct? The sunrise time or the egress time? Or am I out by
two hours on my conversion to DST?
