The button that looks like a histogram + its vertical mirror image gives you
a dynamic before and after view of your adjustments. That window is also
stretchable, so that you can make the histogram full screen width.

Hey Rich...
I'm with you, man! I have PS v7.0 and I still prefer PW Pro for
'Curves' adjustments. The dialog box is larger, easier to achieve finite
adjustments... plus it shows the 'Histogram' *behind* the curve line.

PW Pro is a powerful, affordable image editor... one that's very
astro-friendly... it even has it's own Ephemeris program built in!
