Gents,

I am wanting to modify a Nikon F for a dry nitrogen purge and have made 
a little hose barb to 1/4" threaded  adapter so I am seeking any first 
hand knowlege of drilling a small gas inlet hole in the tipod mounting 
hole. Anything I need to worry about or is this  a relatively risk free 
endeavor ?
