One other thought Chris.  You of all people should not question the
"legitimacy" of imaging with less than the "latest" technology to reach
the highest levels of competency.  No other example demonstrates this
better than your NEAT: 3 tails image.  One could make an objective
argument based on web publications that your image was the best taken,
and all of this done with some lowly Schmidt camera technology and
emulsion.  The viewers don't care what equipment was used to get the
image.  They just want unique and pretty images.  Don't fret guys, film
is still relevant.  Let's use its advantages wisely.

The trend that seems to be geling is that most imagers
of today must be both competent in both making money
as well as have the rudiments of sky shooting skills. 

I love change, but is this really fair?
