Adventure - First NEAT image
Very nice Chris, I like the photos of the desert
stay as well.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi all -
From May 11-14th, I flew out to CA to image comet NEAT. I knew my chances
here in New England we about zero to none to get some decent shots on film.
During my visit I stayed with my good friend Jim Janusz in Palm Desert.
From his home, it was only about a hour drive east to some black mag 7.0
desert skies. I also met up with friend and fellow AZ imager Richard Payne.
Over the three nights of imaging, all nights were successful in imaging the
comet. Here's my first shot that I processed. Taken on P400F +1 through
Jim's A-P Traveler refractor FR'd to f/4.5.

I've also spent the last week or so putting a trip report together on my
experiences along with some shots of the site and friends.

There are many more comet and deep-sky shots to come over the next several
days/week as I get them processed.
Comments always welcomed!
Enjoy the view.
