Re: [APML] Kodak m.v.p. 800

Hi Stuart !

For the milkyay , I know more processing under photoshop can bring this picture more esthetic but like I mentioned I try to repoduce what I have on my print.

40 to 60 sec on aurora is too much for me because the aurora is always moving and that will be blurry :(

I post the last one only to show that this film is good on verry short exposure , a good film for "mr.Everybody" , but in astronomy whe're not Everybody ;)

Good luck with your 3 pack :)

Dominic, not that I doubt you but your test is a pretty tough one. I
think the first photo of the milky way is redeemable with some
anti-vignetting. The aurora shot is very short exposure - interesting
would be to have gone 40 and 60 seconds (though I must admit my surprise
that 800 ASA film recorded so little in 20 seconds at 2.8. The last shot
is, again, tough to judge - evening twilight is difficult to guage exposure.

I'm going to buy three rolls today and put one in my second astro camera
and one in my daytime camera and I'll post anything I get that works.
