Loren - You should be able to catch an aurora from Tahoe, check
spaceweather.com and the POES site.  Isn't Tahoe around 39N?  They may not
be great visual displays but should be able to be caught on film.  Chris
Schur has shot numerous auroral displays from central AZ, which is farther
south.
