I don't think it is your printer as much as the type of ink your using. They
should offer non fade archival ink. If your using that then it might be the
type of paper. I am using an HP1220C with Adobe Postscript 3 installed. I
print on Epson ColorLife Super B sheets and am very happy with this setup. I
have prints over a year and a half old and they look great. Hope that helps.
