[APML] OT:Eyepieces

This is a little off topic but it is related to AP work.
With Mars being in a good position in a month and a half I am thinking
about trying some projection photography.
But what came to mind is are the common EP's (Plossl and Ortho)
apochromatic or achromatic? Will I have colour fringing with these types
if I don't use a M-V filter?
Or with a 1000mm focal length would just using a barlow provide enough
magnification on 35mm film?
